With a Masters degree in Clinical Psychology, I am currently pursuing Observation Studies (Pre-Clinical) at Psychoanalytic Therapy and Research Center, Bombay, India. Here, I am learning to tend to the early infant and young child-caregiver relationship to follow its developmental dynamics alongside reading the work of Sigmund Freud and Melanie Klein.
My supervisors of a few years now are Dr. Rachana Johri (individual) and Dr. Neetu Sarin (group). It is in relationship with my supervisors and peers that my clinical thinking and relational capacities have been nurtured. In nurturance and challenge, the therapist in me continually evolves.
My personal analysis (thrice weekly) over the years continues to allow me to experience the fullness of life dreamt and lived in a clinic. It is through the couch and in relationship with my analyst, I have formed a self. It is through these experiences, in loving and in rupture, that an ‘I’ is birthing.
