“Now I want to say: ‘After being – doing and being done to. But first, being.”
D.W. Winnicott

Psychotherapy

Individual psychotherapy sessions are for a duration of 50 minutes. This time holds the work and relationship in ways that will come to be experienced. I believe we can only attempt to imagine where therapeutic work will take us. I hold this uncertainty with respect, allowing the relationship and the session to unfold.

I prefer meeting those whom I work with twice a week, this allows the deepening of our relationships, facilitates continuity and a close tending to the dynamics of existing concerns. The duration of your engagement with therapy cannot be said with certainty, it will be arrived at in our work. I work with those who may be open to exploring long-term, open ended work. I believe we will need time to truly begin to discover who we are in relation to each other and to the worlds inside, outside of us.

I work with adults, around the workings of intimacy, abuse, love and loss in relationships. I speak Telugu, and understand Tamizh, Kannada and Hindi.

I am not qualified to offer psychometric testing, clinical assessments, diagnosis and prescriptions. My training does not specialise in groups, children and adolescents or couples work.

My fee is INR 1700/session with an annual fee hike. Pro bono/low-fee spaces are full (as of July ‘26).
